BWRT® stands for ‘Brain Working Recursive Technique™,
What it is: BWRT® was created by Terence Watts, a renown Practitioner in London, England. It’s a totally confidential method that does not require you to reveal your private information or personal secrets to your Practitioner.
The process of BWRT® is carried out in a completely conscious state. It does not use hypnosis or any concepts that might be considered mystical or unscientific - it’s completely logical, practical, and down-to-earth, and in order for it to succeed you only need to know what you want to change in your life.

How it works: Few people realize that when faced with a triggering situation their minds have already made a decision about how to react BEFORE they have a chance to consciously intervene. This is why you sometimes find yourself repeatedly getting frustrated with a situation and thinking ‘why did I do that?' after you did it.
The principle of BWRT® is that you can take an upsetting emotional reaction to a triggering issue and replace it with a preferred outcome--one that you create and are comfortable with.
BWRT® is a science-based, totally grounded methodology that deals with uncomfortable emotional or psychological triggers before you are even aware of them. While many approaches work on the response after it has been generated, with BWRT® the problem is dealt with ‘at source’ before it even gets to the conscious mind. This approach leaves you feeling better and reacting in a way that feels more appropriate and uniquely "you".
What a typical session looks like: During a BWRT® session, you are completely responsible for changing your responses to your issues. I will act as a guide, helping you create a new neural pathway that bypasses your old response. You will be asked a few questions about your background and what has brought you to seek my help. You will not be asked to reveal any secrets or intimate details about your life.
This is a totally private approach in which you only have to be able to explain how you currently feel when confronted by a trigger and how you would rather feel instead.
In the session you will be asked to recall and visualize a memory of a time that your symptoms were at their worst. It’s not necessary to remember the cause, or even the first time you felt this way. You will also be asked to visualize how you would rather be feeling or acting when confronted by the trigger in the future.
It generally takes 1-2 sessions depending on the complexities of your situation; however Generalized Anxiety Disorder requires several sessions due to the nature of its multiple triggers. Once the session is completed you will be amazed at how easily you can now handle an old trigger.
Special Populations Served: Veterans, First Responders, Health Care Personnel, Survivors of Trauma (Physical, Sexual, Verbal, Emotional abuse), Survivors of Suicide
This technique is especially helpful if you are experiencing PTSD from any trauma (i.e. active military duty, domestic violence, car accident, witnessing a traumatic event, etc.…)

Cost: $135/hour session or $180/90 minute session. Payment is expected at time of services unless otherwise agreed upon prior to the session. I accept payment through ZELLE and checks. Sessions qualify for HSA. I will be happy to provide you with an invoice at the end of our work together. There is a $90 no show fee for less than 24-hour cancelation fee.
There's no need to leave the comfort of your home: I provide telephonic or tele video-sessions via Doxy.me (HIPPA approved for your confidentiality). Please note: I am not on any insurance panels. You may use your HSA account for these services. I will happily accept a check from your HSA prior to the session, or I will provide an invoice at the conclusion of our work together that you may send to your HSA for reimbursement.
